Marie Louise Nijsing specializes in capturing authentic and rare objects in a timeless way.
With her apparently classic still lifes she tries to meet the current need for peace and simplicity. Characteristic is the attention she pays to the light that plays on the porcelain objects.
Marie Louise studied at the Artistic School in Krakow and at the Photo School in Amsterdam. History and cultural heritage are the common thread in her work. In the past 15 years she has had exhibitions on this theme in Dutch museums. At the moment she is working on a cultural photo project in Paris.
