"My approach to taking pictures is deliberate and precise. I build the image carefully, stage all the details, model the face and pose in the most appropriate form and position. Creating flattering and sincere portraits. Ultimately, subject and space are equally important within the frame. During the twenty years that I have been working as a photographer, I often return to André, my former neighbor and muse, inspired by his special kind of beauty . He is a real gentleman and a beautiful model, he trusts me and will always remain himself. I like the austere atmosphere in his house. It fuels my interest in lived-in and dated interiors. From this interest, my search on funda for locations emerge. Always houses, soon to be demolished with unexpected views. This gives me a fresh perspective on things, lets my imagination flow."
