'Authenticity' is a key word to describe the photographic work of Josefien Tondeleir, born in 1987. She studied Sociology at Ghent University, but could never let go of her urge to photograph.

As a mainly self-taught photographer, she focuses her lens on subjects that are close to her heart. Nature, animals and her own family. As a silent observer, she approaches her subject in a curious but respectful manner.
