Iris Jacobs is a Dutch visual artist and filmmaker who currently lives in Barcelona. Jacobs was exposed to a flood of music and musicians during her childhood and she could spend hours watching music videos. She loved to dance, mimic crazy walks and design characters, while cycling through nature at age 11, pinching her arm to wonder if this life was real.

Her first short film 'Fight Flight Free' premiered in Barcelona in 2018 and traveled the festival circuit worldwide. Since then she has made a number of video clips and (dance) films.

Jacobs is currently working on a new collage series; 'Leaving Things Out', writing and directing various film projects and theatrical performances, while expanding the workshops and experiences she designs for 'Curious Creatives', a community of artists in Barcelona; which she founded in 2018.
