"When I look at photos of models I see a dream world with perfect heads, bodies, clothes and shoes. Once I thought that the world in the photos really existed somewhere, like a parallel world, a paradise where I had no access to it. Later came the realization that this world is fake and certainly not paradisiacal, but a fabricated reality, an invented illusion. In the photo series 'Sugar' I edited fashion photos with sugar, creating a new alienating illusion, a sweet sugar mask ."
