Alice Angelini (born in Italy) is a photographer based in Amsterdam. She works with analogue and digital photography and is interested in the visual characteristics of each practice; in her images, Alice draws on the familiar feel of film photography and depicts her subjects with a nostalgic undertone, inspired by her underlying Italian heritage. Alice's work is based on the interaction of colour, texture and composition in still life and landscape photography: through a minimalist approach she explores the overlooked and the beauty found in everyday moments, building a strong visual connection between the here and now.
